One the biggest cultural events in Russia will be held in St. Petersburg from November, 16 to November, 27.


The festival was created 9 years ago on the 100 year anniversary of the Russian Seasons, the famous ballets founded by Sergei Diaghilev. Today the festival represents various forms of modern art, and it has become one of the most significant cultural events in Russia. The troupe of John Neumeier, the company of Angelin Preljocaj, the ballet of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, the orchestra of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater will perform in St. Petersburg theatres. This year the event is dedicated to the 200 year anniversary of Marius Petipa, a French and Russian ballet choreographer known for his works for Don Quixote, La Bayadère, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and many other famous ballets.
