Zaryadye Park in the Time Magazine's List
The American magazine included Moscow's Central Park in the annual World's Greatest Places list.
The construction of Zaryadye Park was made by design of Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R), the famous U.S. architects, and completed last year. It is located in the heart of the capital - just by the Kremlin. It is, probably, one of the most outstanding venues in Russia as it embodies a present-day Moscow - the place where the artistic legacy is skilfully blended with modern era.
The territory of the park covers 78 000 sq. meters and has multiple attractions. It includes a concert hall with an amphitheater and a glass dome and a 8500 sq. meters media center that will show you an interactive history of Russia. One of the most distinguished features of the park is a floating bridge - an airy 70 meters' constructions without a single support that hovers over the Moscow River. And the ice cave with 70 tons of freezed water will make you feel like Ice Queen.
The World's Greatest Places list is published every year and features the most unusual places from various countries and also includes resturants and hotels. The list is based on the opinions of multiple experts who evaluate each place on its quality, originality, innovation, sustainability and influence.
