The first Fan ID issuing centers have opened in Russia for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2018 World Cup.

The Fan ID system was already applied during the Winter Olympics 2014 and proved to be very successful. Among the main benefits of the document during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2018 World Cup are visa free entry to Russia and free public transportation (also between the stadiums in different cities). And, of course, never forget your Fan ID wherever you go, it will be your access pass to the games along wthl the ticket.
It is very easy to get the documents - after you have bought the ticket, apply for the Fan ID through the portal or at one of the issuance centers (in the latter case you will have to visit the center twice). You will get a reply within 72 hours. After that you can order your ID to be delivered to your place of stay, collect it at one of the issuing centers, or get the card at the stadium.
