Every Christmas Moscow transforms into a fairy tale land with numerous wonders on every corner.


Every year Christmas and New Year in Russia becomes brighter and brighter. This winter the large-scale festival "Journey into Christmas " encompases both Russian and European traditions and lasts from the mid of December till the mid of January as the Orthodox Christmas is January 7th.


Moscow offers 33 theme venues with various decorations, illuminated installations, street concerts, theatrical perfromances and workshops open for everyone. 144 Christmas trees will illuminate the capital, and the highest one is 17 meters, located on Manezhnaya square. Every possible attraction awaits the visitors on every corner of the city center - numerous holiday related quests and quizzing games with prizes, an ice slide 100 meters long, the whole "Gingerbread Village", ice theatre with every day perfromances of the most famous ice ballets - "The Nutcracker", "Swan Lake", "Snow White", "Cipollino" and many others. Also Christmas is the best time for shopping, Kuzntsky Bridge street will turn into a couture fashion gallery of the most famous Russian designers.
Not to mention various fairs for Chritmas goods - decorations, antique toys, hot beverages and desserts. Representation from 15 countries will also share their Christmas traditions on the festivals and offer various souvenirs to the visitors.
