The Sheremetev Palace, or the Fountain House, is one of the oldest palaces in St. Petersburg, belonging to the wealthiest and most influential noble family in Russia. The building itself has a rich history, but a certain part of it is especially romantic. We offer you to experience the atmosphere of the Russian aristocratic theater and musical life where a count and a serf actress fell in love with each other. And did they have a happy end?

You will get a tour around the palace and see 300-year-old instruments of symphony orchestra from the first music museum in Russia. Learn about history of Russian music and famous composers. You will listen to arias from operas performed by the count Sheremetev and his beloved and instrumental music of 18th century – all in the lush halls of the palace.  

The palace also offers a special interactive program for children and families.
